Mikel Brown this past summer made a huge name for himself, playing up 17U on the 3SSB Circuit, playing with Southeast Elite. Brown has been blowing up as one of the better guards in the class of 2025. This summer Brown averaged 10.6 points, 4.5 assists and 2.8 rebounds playing two age groups above his own. The Florida native is a high IQ guard that is very creative and makes good reads early in pick and roll situations. Brown can score in high volume and has efficient range on his three point shot. He has no problem creating space either as he can always get his shot off. Brown has  crazy pace for his age and can control a game and tempo that many struggle to do at his age. One of the few underclassmen on his Sunrise Christian team, expect his name to only continue to rise, especially playing with upperclassmen like John Bol, Matas Buzelis, Scotty Middleton, and Layden Blocker . Brown currently holds fourteen division one offers from Auburn, Baylor, Kansas, Indiana, Tennessee, Florida and more. His better playing days are ahead but he must hit the weight room and continue to build his frame. Expect another big summer for Brown. His game will only improve playing in the NIBC, which will help him leading into grassroots season.
