2023 4-Star Isaiah Miranda has just announced his top eight schools left in his recruitment. Miranda is one of the top big men in the 2023 class and schools from around the nation have been recruiting him for some time now. Miranda will be suiting up for SoCal Academy (CA) this high school season and will be up against some of the top talent across the country.

Miranda's top eight schools consist of UCLA, USC, Oregon, Rhode Island, Louisville, Georgetown, UConn, and Texas

In this interview, Miranda breaks down each of his top eight schools and describes the conversations he has been having with each coaching staff.

UCLA: "UCLA, they have great development with their guys. All their facilities are elite. The coaching staff is really hard on their guys and I feel like that is what I need to get to the next level. They are going to make me want to do everything at an elite level. They want to use me as like an inside and out guy. They want to get me in the weight room and put crazy weight on me."

USC: " I get a lot of comparison to Evan Mobley and he played inside and out of the paint. They have been showing me how to be that type of big that do do pretty much everything on the floor. They could see me pushing the break. I really like the coaching staff. They keep everything straight with me."

Oregon: "I haven't been on a visit yet or anything so I am looking forward to doing that. Oregon has always been one of my dream schools. I really want to look more into the program and go on a visit."

Louisville: "There coaching staff is really good at developing big guys. There coaching staff also has a lot of history of getting guys to the pros. I am really intrigued by that. I haven't been on a visit there yet so I don't know too much about the facilities yet."

Georgetown: "I really like their coaching staff. They give me a lot of good vibes and I have connected with them a lot. Patrick Ewing is literally a legend. Getting tips from him isn just a blessing. I took a visit there and the facilities are pretty good."

Texas: "I plan on taking a visit to Texas. Coach Beard is a great coach. They have a history with big guys as well. Kevin Durant went there and he is one of my favorite players. I really try to play like KD."

UConn: "I love Coach Hurley's style of coaching. He pushes his guys really hard. He is really on top of his stuff. I feel like they have what I need to get to the next level. No space for mistakes or anything like that so that would keep me on top of my stuff."

Rhode Island: "A point guard that I played with during AAU goes there. Another reason I would want to play over there is because it is a chance to represent my home town and have my family and friends come see me play in college."
