Trentyn Flowers is one of the top ranked prospects from the class of 2024. His rise in the rankings over the course of a year proves to everyone that he has made major strides in his game.

Flowers, who is coming off a very impressive grassroots season with Team Durant (MD) and Strive For Greatness (CA), has racked up offers and interest from some of the top college programs in the country.

Right before grassroots season started, Flowers announced he will be attending Rosedale Christian (MD) for this upcoming high school season

In this in-depth interview, Flowers discuss his decision to attend Rosedale Christian, his recruitment, this grassroots season, and much more.

You announced you will be attending Rosedale Christian (MD) for the 2022-23 HS season. What went in to that decision?

Trentyn Flowers: I was born in Maryland and wanted to return home and play in front of a home crowd.

How do you think you will help Rosedale Christian win games?

Trentyn Flowers: I fell like no matter what team I am on, I will always make the right plays and impact winning in anyway to get the job done

This summer you played up at the 17U age level with Team Durant (MD) and Strive For Greatness (CA). What did you learn from both of those teams?

Trentyn Flowers: Team Durant - I learned from my teammates how to play and fit in wherever I was needed. With Strive For Greatness, I learned to just come in and be a dog right away. Play my game and to not let anything get in my way. Both teams were very valuable to me.

What was it like playing in front of LeBron James when you played with Strive For Greatness? Did LeBron give you any advice?

Trentyn Flowers: It was an amazing experience. He just told me to keep playing hard and be very concise in all my moves.

Recruitment

Your most recent offer came from Dana Altman and Oregon, what was that like and have you been talking to the Oregon coaching staff?

Trentyn Flowers: It was an amazing offer to pick up. Especially with my teammate Kwame Evans just committing there. Dwayne Wise (Director of Recruiting for Team Durant) has been talking to them for me.

How do you see yourself fitting into Oregon's system?

Trentyn Flowers: I feel like they do a great job with versatile players and with my play style I feel that I would be able too make an impact all over the floor.
