The 2020 Hoophall West event was cancelled during the 2020-2021 high school season due to the COVID-19 outbreak that had began back in March 2020. The Hoophall West has always been one of the primetime national events media outlets and national scouts look forward to every high school season. 

The elite showcase consistently features some of the country's top tier programs and prospects every single season and this upcoming season should not be any different. The Hoophall West is set to make it's return during the 2021-2022 high school season and it should be a good one filled with a plethora of top-25 programs and talent. 

The full field was released earlier today and programs like Montverde Academy (FL), Oak Hill Academy (VA), Duncanville (TX), DeMatha Catholic (MD), Sierra Canyon (CA), Centennial (CA), Pace Academy (GA), AZ Compass Prep (CA), Prolific Prep (CA), Perry (AZ), Bishop Gorman (NV), Coronado (NV), Sunnyslope (AZ), St. Edwards (OH), Legacy Early College (SC), and plenty more will be part of the field in December. A few girl programs will be apart of the field as well. 

This year's showcase event will be the 9th annual Hoophall West and the location is set to be back in Phoenix, Arizona at Chaparral High School in Scottsdale. This year's event will feature a four-game showcase that will be played in downtown Phoenix at the Footprint Center, which is home to the NBA's Phoenix Suns including the matchup between Sierra Canyon (CA) verse Perry (AZ) and Oak Hill Academy (VA) verse AZ Compass Prep (AZ).
